Overview of the Role

The role of a venue Senior Sales Executive is to maximise and grow the pre-booked sales of the venue, by identifying opportunities to increase sales such as drink packages and booths. The Senior Sales Executive will be required to produce a strategic monthly sales plan, which is designed to meet the venues period sales targets.

The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for managing and leading the venues sales team. They will pro-actively attract customers into the venue, as well as ensuring all daily enquiries are converted.


Key Tasks:

  • Meet all Weekly Sales Targets as clearly defined by Director of Sales
  • Manage a team of Sales Executives
  • Complete & Deliver all Sales Planning as and when required
  • Collate the weekly activity report
  • Clearly communicate pre booked sales on a weekly conference call to Regional Director



  • Grow and maximise pre-booked sales, through the increased sale of packages, booths, ticket sales and events
  • Successful promotion and selling of all consumer and calendar occasions such as Christmas, New Year’s Eve, Halloween, Birthdays and any other occasion as briefed
  • Manage, train and motivate the sales executives and clearly define their role and objectives within the venue
  • Be the face of the sites brand, both internally and externally.
  • Be creative, passionate and positive in their interaction with venue management and related areas of the business such as Marketing and Operations
  • Work to pre-determined targets as set by the Director of Sales
  • Manage the VIP client base (by profile and value) and ensure excellent delivery of events and occasions for such clients
  • Create and execute a sales plan for the venue, detailing clear targets and objectives for the team
  • Endeavour to always show creativity and innovation while following the processes set before you
  • Attend networking events, raising the profile of the sales team and the venue within the local community
  • Attend regular Sales Meetings / Conference calls as detailed by the Regional Director
  • Ensure that all incoming enquiries are dealt with using the MIRACLE formula, and deliver a high level of conversion from enquiry to confirmed booking
  • Continually build and validate a quality database of contacts with key employers, organisations and private customers
  • Manage the venue booking system, to provide sales analysis and ensure accuracy of sales reporting
  • Plan sales focus days to drive a sales culture within the venue sales team
  • Perform client show rounds and meet and greet clients, acting as the Venue representative
  • Be responsible for all social media channels and ensure the brands tone and appearance is consistent
