The Deltic Group are looking for a Social Media Marketing Manager to develop and shape the company’s social media and marketing activity, working across 58 bars and clubs including well-known brands such as PRYZM, ATIK and Bar & Beyond.

As one of the largest operators, our vision is to be seen as experts within the late-night entertainment and bar sector, acting as the anchor for the night time economy in each town by delivering the highest levels of entertainment, standards and facilities

The Social Media Marketing Manager is a newly created role and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to build a social media team that will push the boundaries to engage its 18-25-year-old customers, and excite them to be part of the Deltic Club community.

Type of leader

 

  • Will develop strategies and implement plans that support the 58 venues in driving footfall and increasing revenue

  • Create, understand and report on key metrics and activities

  • Has a strong knowledge of all social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Snap Chat, Instagram, LinkedIn, Messenger and WhatsApp

  • Ability to present plans, activities and results to a wide audience across the business

  • Full understanding of idea/campaign generation, creation and delivery of content and consumer segmentation, plus SEO and other related techniques

  • Bases tactics and strategy on well informed and researched knowledge, not adverse to risk taking

  • Demonstrate that they don’t go wobbly under pressure

  • Good/strong team player that takes responsibility for his/her team and actively encourages others within the wider team to excel

  • Think big, be ambitious

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of five social media managers/executives to deliver a great online social experience for the Deltic customer

  • Manage, maintain and grow the company’s social communities, circa 1.5 million people

  • Ensure the digital team communicate and deliver on agreed activities/KPI’s

  • Set, monitor and deliver meaningful timely results that drive engagement and revenue

  • Develop social media management tools and reporting techniques to future proof our business

  • Project manage new technical advancements in the social media arena

  • Advise and support other online promotional/marketing activities, both in-house or supplier/third party

  • Ensure that brands stay on point and work within the brand framework in the social space

  • Monitor reactive/crisis/complaint social activity and take corrective action with the customer services department

  • Ensure that all social media activity remains compliant of both the law, copyright and licensing objectives/policies

  • Strong communicator

     

Experience/knowledge

  • Held supervisory/management role for more than 2 years

  • Knowledge of youth and branded marketing
