Regional Director

Regional Director - Operations - East Region (Based From Home)

The Regional Director is a key operational role within the company’s Senior Leadership Team. We currently have six regions throughout the country. The role is to manage the East of England region for The Deltic Group, a highly acclaimed and award winning national operator of clubs and bars.

 

The role will be to lead the development of the current operational businesses, together with identifying and securing new business opportunities through supporting your management teams with particular emphasis on marketing, corporate events and the driving of the company’s sales strategy. The role will suit an entrepreneurial individual with good follow through skills and be a great people manager.

 

You will work closely with the Operations Director, your management teams and the core head office support departments to assist in delivering the agreed operational strategy that will focus on growth, in a manner that reflects the company philosophy, whilst supporting, developing and managing the region.

 

The successful individual will need to monitor the operational performance and financial results against all set plans, budgets, and standards and set strategic goals and operational plans. You will be required to provide continuous direction, advice, coaching and mentoring to your management teams to help them achieve their local operational objectives as well as set personal development goals for those individuals and teams.

 

The successful candidate will:

Preferably have knowledge and skills of multi-site management and either be experienced in a regional/area management role of clubs/bars/entertainment venues or be a successful senior general manager.

 

Have confidence and capability of dealing with the Board and other senior management.

 

Be a strong and informed decision maker.

 

Have experience of overseeing successful projects alongside the specialists, refurbishments and new openings/launches.

 

Experience of dealings with Licensing Authorities and residents where appropriate.

 

Have ‘on trend’ knowledge within the industry particularly with regard to marketing and entertainment.

 

Have good financial controls and understanding of your regions budgets, and being capable of collating and analysing the financial data.

Strong leadership skills with a modern and dynamic approach with a highly pro-active skill set

Be accountable for driving a business forward whilst leading and developing the management team.
