Clubbers raise the roof at PRYZM Portsmouth

Portsmouth’s newest and biggest club opened its doors this weekend to a crowd of 5,000 over the weekend.

PRYZM Portsmouth on Stanhope Road has received a £1 million investment by operators the Deltic Group and created 75 new jobs for the city.

General Manager Dave Joyce said: “Portsmouth was ready to party! We’ve had an amazing opening weekend. The club looks fantastic and feedback has been really positive. Our guests over the weekend – Marvin Humes and Mark Wright – were real crowd pleasers,  they raised the roof and the atmosphere was electric.

“We look forward to continuing to bring great nights, featuring celebrity guests and the latest international DJs, to the people of Portsmouth and beyond.”

PRYZM Portsmouth boasts a main arena, showcasing the latest light and sound technology. This is complemented by Curve – a more intimate luxurious room with DJs playing the latest soul and funk tracks.

A disco room called Vinyl has a flashing dance floor. Groups and parties will be catered for with 25 VIP booths all offering special packages and table service.

“We have created the very latest clubbing experience focusing on style, sound, lighting, music and service in order to give people a memorable, fun, big night out experience.” added Dave.
