Deltic recognises their shining stars

The Deltic Group awards are held every year at their company conference, to recognise their talented employees for their achievements over the past 12 months.

This year’s conference was held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Oxfordshire, and the awards dinner gave them the chance to celebrate the brightest stars of the past year.

As well as awarding the best performers in each region, awards were presented to the top performers in the company.

Sales Manager of the Year – Elise Ginevra, Cameo & Myu, Bournemouth 

Elise was promoted from Sales Executive in 2016, and has taken on the role with a firm grip! Becoming an expert in the pre-booked trade, she regularly achieves sell-outs in the summer months and has created some great Christmas sales. Her creativity and motivational skills have not only ensured that Cameo dominates Bournemouth’s nightlife, but that she is highly regarded by her colleagues too.

Deputy Manager of the Year – Clare McCann, Cav, Edinburgh 

Joining the company as bar staff in 2011, Clare made her way up to Deputy Manager in 2015. Clare has helped Cav attract some great student events, thanks to strong connections with student reps and promoters. During her Deltic career Clare has worked at all three of our Scottish sites and her energy and drive meant that she improved performance at each of these sites. All in all, a fantastic manager.

General Manager of the Year – Nick Greensted, Atik, Oxford 

Nick started his career with Deltic in 2011 as a crew member. Within months he was promoted to Team Coach, before achieving his first Deputy Manager role in 2014. Now the General Manager at ATIK, Oxford his impact was immediate and he delivered a fantastic first year for the newly-formed club. Described as ‘refreshingly positive’ by his colleagues, he is a worthy winner of General Manager of the Year.
