A star studded line-up has been revealed for Bournemouth’s biggest club, Cameo, which is relaunching its main room following a £1/2 million transformation.
DJ and TV presenter Marvin Humes will be taking to the decks on Friday 16 February as clubbers get to celebrate the new look Cameo room and benefit from the upgraded lighting and sound system.
With a more stripped back look and feel, and upgraded seating, the main room will also benefit from the addition of a 10 metre bar, serving a range of drinks from a selection of craft beers to a Club Special Bournemouth Bellini. For those seeking the VIP experience, seven pre-bookable booths have been added overlooking the dance floor. And an exclusive party room experience will offer a further touch of luxury and premium drinks service.
The investment by the UK’s largest late night bar and club operator, The Deltic Group, has also created an additional 17 jobs, bringing the total number employed at the Fir Vale Road club to 87.
Cameo general manager, Adrian Swain, said: “Cameo is well known in Bournemouth and we continue to be the number one night spot in the town. We’re confident this facelift will be a big hit with our guests who make our club such a great place to party.
“The excitement is building, and we are determined to host a party to remember. Marvin Humes will put on a great DJ show – what a way to kick off our celebrations!”
Cameo is set across four rooms, in addition to the main room, there is Vinyl with a flashing dance floor and glitter balls that plays disco classics; Myu Bar for a more laid back and sophisticated vibe; and Basement, which plays the latest R&B chart tracks.
