Oceana splashes out on £300k investment

Southampton’s Oceana club will be opening a new R&B room later this month [26 May] following a £300,000 investment by owner The Deltic Group.

The Curve Room will play the latest R&B chart hits, and feature luxurious gold and black décor with 5 private booths, which can be booked in advance for parties.  The club’s main dance room will also receive an upgrade to the light and sound system.

To celebrate the launch on Friday 26 May, TV Love Island hunk, Alex Bowen will be making an appearance at the club, where he’ll meet and greet his fans.

Oceana general manager, Alex O’Reilly, said: “Oceana is a Southampton institution and we continue to be the number one nightspot in the city.  We are confident Curve will be a big hit with our fantastic and loyal customers who make this such a great club and they will benefit from the upgraded light and sound technology in the main room.

“Alex Bowen is very popular and we know that his fans will be keen to meet him.  It should be a great start to the bank holiday weekend.”

Also, taking place over the bank holiday weekend at Oceana is Smirnoff’s Big Night Out planned for Saturday 27 May, followed by the infamous Ibiza Foam Party on Sunday 28 May.  For further information and tickets visit https://www.oceanaclubs.com/southampton/events
