Aberdeen club rises up to party in the ATIK with new £800,000 club and 30 new jobs.

A new £800,000 club is coming to Aberdeen this summer, creating 30 additional jobs bringing a unique brand of world-class entertainment and the ultimate clubbing experience to the city.

Following the closure of the Institute last month, ATIK will open on Bridge Place on Friday 31st August, following investment by The Deltic Group, the UK’s leading operator of late night bars and clubs.

The new night spot will have three distinct rooms: ATIK will showcase the very best in light and sound technology; Vinyl is aimed at those who enjoy classic pop and Curve, a luxurious new room with an intimate atmosphere, will play the latest RnB chart hits.

Groups and parties will be catered for with over 16 pre-bookable VIP booths with table service from a team of hosts throughout the night. In disco themed Vinyl, five of the VIP areas will have their own private flashing dance floor.

General manager, Ruth Jones said: “The venue was a big part of the town’s nightlife for a number of years, as both the Institute and Liquid before that. Many people have happy memories of fun times here, but it’s time to bring something new to Aberdeen and the very best we can offer in terms of a clubbing experience.

“We want to thank everyone who came out to say a fond farewell to the Institute but now we’re focusing on spending the summer transforming the place to reopen as ATIK, with Vinyl and Curve. We can’t wait to deliver a fantastic venue and night outs for existing and new customers. We’ve more than doubled the number of booths and we’ve got some fun touches including inflatable guitars and dress-up items in Vinyl to make every night a party night!”

The club is recruiting for 30 new full and part-time positions, from bar staff to hospitality and sales assistants.

“We are looking for people who enjoy life, have a positive attitude and want to be part of our great new venture.  Keep your eye out for our recruitment drive very soon,” added Ruth , who has worked for Deltic for over 12 years, having started her career working behind a bar when she was a student.
